With the latest updates from the NDIS Final Report and the shifting compliance landscape, staying informed about NDIS Provider Workforce requirements is more crucial than ever.

NDIS Providers, Consultants, CEOs, Directors, Managers, Disability Employment Providers, and key stakeholders are invited to our upcoming events in Darwin on 17th October 2024

Our NDISLINK Provider/Disability Workforce Symposiums are thoughtfully designed to tackle the urgent challenges, evolving regulations, and key strategies needed to maintain a skilled and adaptable workforce in today’s fast-changing NDIS sector.

About the Darwin NDISLINK Provider Workforce Symposium:

This symposium is designed to equip NDIS providers with the legal insights and strategies necessary to navigate the ever-changing landscape of workplace regulations and legislative reforms. Attendees will gain critical understanding of how to manage psychosocial risks in the NDIS workplace, the impact of the Secure Jobs Better Pay Act and the Closing the Loopholes Bill, and how these changes affect operational compliance.

In addition to addressing workforce legislation, the event will highlight how providers can build a future-ready workforce by aligning skills development, training, and industry collaboration. The Industry Skills Advisory Council NT (ISACNT) will offer guidance on vocational education and training (VET) programs specifically tailored for the NDIS sector.

Attendees will learn how ISACNT supports workforce development through tailored training programs, policy advocacy, and strategies for addressing skills shortages.

The symposium also focuses on practical strategies to attract, retain, and train workers in the care and support sector, ensuring providers are equipped to maintain a capable and sustainable workforce. Expert presentations will delve into proactive leadership strategies within corporate governance, highlighting the critical role of leadership in building resilient teams and navigating growth in the NDIS space.

Other key topics include essential guidelines for implementing complaints and incident management systems in compliance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. Attendees will leave with tips for ensuring these systems meet audit standards and mitigate common non-conformances.

To conclude, the event will explore staff motivation and strategies to manage psychosocial hazards in the disability sector, offering practical tools to build resilient teams and reduce staff burnout.

This comprehensive symposium is a must for NDIS providers looking to stay informed on legal obligations, strengthen their workforce, and enhance leadership strategies within the sector.

Join us as expert speakers offer valuable insights to help you navigate these changes, ensuring you leave empowered and prepared for future success.
